Default Need opinions. Tried on some wheels today

I think I may go with this one. It is a TSW kyalami. Funny thing is the center portion is painted the exact same graphite grey metallic as the car. A couple guys that were waiting said it looked like those wheels were custom painted for this car. It also has a real nice machined lip that looks just about perfect. I was going to go with the ASA AR1 wheels, but the center of that wheel is either bright silver or black. Not really what I was looking for. What do you think?

color match looks great. not a huge fan of the style of the wheels, but looks better than the stock silver ones, and 1 of a kind.

Yeah, the color is perfect, even up close. Strange that they actually call this color Hyper Black. Not black at all. Each time I look at the pics I like them more and more. $1,100 installed balanced etc with my tires.

I like em. How'd you get them on my car without me knowing?

Ok, having second thoughts. How about these? The centers are also the same color as the car with a machined lip.

Or maybe these ASA AR1's. Silver center with a machined lip.

Sorry guys. Obviously I have a problem.

The TSW brand have a very good reputation for quality. Like all German wheels, they must pass that country's tough TUV standards, the most stringent as far as I know. I've known several people with TSW wheels (other designs), and they were all happy with both the quality and durability.

While I like these TSW Kyalami's over the ASA 5-spokes you show, I remain a loyal fan of the stock (non-SRT6) wheels, which seem perfect for the XF's design.

Andrew, I value your opinion immensely as I think you have very good taste. Why not the second ones? I was actually leaning towards that one. Help me please.

they look too american (mustang type - 5 spoke) imo.

this car needs a more in-depth wheel choice. mesh rims seem to give a more upscale european look.

but this may just be me & my thoughts. hope to be helpful.

I agree, I really do like the stock wheels. I just wish they were polished aluminum. I love that look. I have a second set of these wheels I was thinking of sending them out to someone to have them stripped and polished. Does anyone even think this is possible?

OK getting serious here. Check out these pics. These are Privats machined face with a machined lip. I think these may be the ones.
The chrome windshield surround would have to be installed naturally and I would probably remove the door handles and send them out to be chromed.
Thanks to all that I hijacked your pics for these photoshops.

Hi there,

Was thinking of getting mine chromed as well. What did you do about the center part? Isn't it plastic? Do you have any photos?

Cheers,
Adam
