Exclamation what's the smallest

what is the smallest size of rims we can go with. i bought some 17" rims for winter and would like to know if it won't touch anywhere. i know other people here have 18" for winter but will 17" fit?

I know one of the guys on here who mounted some 17's on his for an autocross, so I would think that at least with the type of rim he had it's possible :-). But if you have the rims already, you can test fit them on the front and back with no tires to see if it clears all the brake parts.

Just a thought.

Thanks,

Michael

I'm not sure but didn't the SLK 320 had 17 inch rims ? Or even 16 ?
If it is the case, knowing that most of the stuff is the same, it wouldn't create many problems.
