I was just snooping around the local Pep Boys last weekend and happened to notice a "caliper paint kit". I didn't pay too much attention to them, but I know they had three colors, red, black, and another one I just can't remember what. You might want to check their website.

Most auto stores carry it. I think I seen it at walmart also. If your looking for red give me a shout I think I only had to use 1/3 of the can to do all four.

There is another thread here that may help. Click Here

Also I found these. I have no idea if they are worth the effort or would even fit our brakes.

Some autoparts stores will rent out some specialty tools, but I'd say invest in a socket set (metric and standard) as well as some open end / box wrenches. Go with Huskey or Craftsman as they both carry a lifetime warranty on hand tools.

I was going to paint mine if the factory stuff looked bad, but they have a very nice semigloss black coating on them, so I'll leave them be for now.

If I ever redo the 'paint' on my calipers, I'll probably just pull them off and tear them down have the calipers powder coated and then get a rebuild kit or just reassemble them.

Cheers.

The coolest thing would be to get raised letters that you can put on the caliper so it says CROSSFIRE. My Porsche has brakes that say Porsche is raised script. Looks cool. Does anybody make some letters you could stick on there that would resist the heat?

Show some pictures of the painted product when you finish them. I'd like to see what they look like.

The wheel cap pops off with a small screw driver which exposes the lugs, then you remove the wheel. There is a step-by-step process to remove the calipers here on this website.

Cool Re: caliper paint kit

I used the Folia-Tec kit on my calipers. You can find the kit at most autoparts stores or tire shops and costs about $30.00.

Nose? You mean the front bumper and grill assembly? (Made in Germany, available from Chrysler).

I've never seen that nose before. It's kind of nice looking.
Not sure where anyone can get it.

I always assumed that was a custom job. I guess it's a matter of personal taste. I don't care for it.

It is a weird Russian prototype from several years ago. See: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...light=Zestline
