after looking at pics... not feeling the chrome. cheapens the wheels beauty imo.

i'd stick with the hyper silver w/polished lip... classy looking.

I have seen the rims chromed on the SL in person I remember them being very beautiful it is just a perfect match for the crossfire if you already have a number of chrome pieces on the car...

Are you going to lower the car, the wheels do look nice, but it needs to be lowered as it looks like a Cherokee at the moment.

 

Carman? Do I check those URL's right? You have different tires on the front than back. Not being the smartest car person here...does that make a difference?

The crossfire comes from the factory with that kind of offset, 18's in the front and 19's in the rear.
I like these wheels but I can't get over the fact they look very similar in design to the SRT's wheels of course just +1 in.

 

What I meant was the TIRES. One is a Yokohama, and the other was General. Wouldn't 2 different tires make a huge ride difference?

 

Any chance of seeing a shot from the rear yet? Love how it looks on the black, do you think it would look just as good on the red?

 

yea that's very true, but they come in chrome as well and me I personally like the chrome look a lot better than the alloy look, but if the stock srt rims came in chrome I would not change them.

 

I'm surprised nobody asked how much they weigh...so I ask...How much do they weigh compared to stock? Nice look I must say.

 

Good question, I asked a few post back about rotational weight. No one seemed to know. Someone please advise.

 

I do not think i am going to lower the car...I live in utah and the roads suck as it is now.
The rotation on the wheels is perfect...
I do not know how much the wheels weigh a piece, they are pretty heavy though.
The different tires were to save money...As long as the have to same pattern and tread, you would be fine with different tires...they are both ZR rated.

Les Schwab has these rims for $998, just to let everyone know. That's the polished not the chrome. I am getting some this weekend. Pics will follow!!

Carman did you need rear spacers?

 

the set up did not need spacers.

 

i think they look rather like the oem srt, and now 2006 base model rims. as far as the different tire mfgs. compounds from front to back, do you notice any traction difference? the softer or harder tire compounds may affect your grip.
