Wait until my tires arrive before you guys buy a set.

Some accountant at Costco going to see a run on these tires and cancel all our orders...

 

My bad. But when I saw no Z in the tire designation, I smelled a rat. Looks like an honest mistake on Costco's part.

 

That add will likely get fixed PDQ if anyone is paying attention. The sales that are confirmed are too bad for Costco. They have to honor them. But maybe they got a BigLOTS price on a batch of PS2's. LOL

No problem... I was hoping to find a set of 275/35X19 at that price - No Joy...

But in retrospect - - it might have have been a better deal to order the two front tires at full pop and take the $80 rebate...

Hey I just ordered a set 5 minutes ago. Get them while it's hot.

www.costco.com then tires, then choose chrysler crossfire, 2005 srt6, finally choose the rear tires, scroll down and bam PS2 R rated for $115.99 each. Smoking deal for an extra set.

 

Well this sucks.. The closest Costco I have is a little over 2 hours away in Omaha, NE. I'm in need of two rear tires and this would've been a great opportunity.

 

They're still available as of 11:30pm 10/6/08 pacific time. I have two rear tires I was planning to install end of this year but for this price I can't let it pass. And since rear tires don't last on these cars it's good to keep a spare set in the garage.

Soory my bad if you continue scrolling you will find the R at 115.99.

 

My order went through at 8:30 am EST and it was confirmed.

 

I want to jump on this sooo bad, but I don't think a 255 protects these rims well enough. :-/

 

The only difference i see is 255/35ZR19 - 400.99 -- 255/35R19 - 115.99

*For tires having a maximum speed capability above 149 mph (240 km/h), a "ZR" may appear in the size designation. For tires having a maximum speed capability above 186 mph (300 km/h), a "ZR" must appear in the size designation. Consult tire manufacturer for maximum speed when there is no Service Description. Example: P275/40R17 93W at 168 mph (270 km/h) or P275/40ZR17 at above 149 mph (240 km/h). Consult tire manufacturer.

Would it matter if you don't get a ZR rated tire?

 

Note that on the order confirmations above the tire listed is the Michelin® Pilot Sport PS2 255/35ZR19 XL.

Who knows why they are marketing them this way. But it is the same tire that they list for $400.
