While I was at Costco getting my tires, I found an unexpected bonus.

In the Christmas toys, they have Maisto Models.. 1/18 scale.

A large pile of them, including... tada! the Crossfire Coupe..

$11.87 each.. only available model is a Silver Crossfire Coupe..

For that price, I'll strip it down and paint it black

Will the Costco bargains ever stop coming??

Got a call and an email. "Come and get yer tires!"

Will take the 38mpg Chevy Metro (with 1.6L swap!) on the 140 mile or so round trip to further enhance my savings!

 

Everybody better check their orders...I just placed one and it was "Pending"...now it's gone (like it never happened). I'll be calling their Customer Service line as soon as possible, but I'm guessing they caught the glitch/problem...

*EDIT - UPDATE*...Strike the comment above...apparently I was using a different email address for my log-in information. Still kinda creepy that I have two different log-ins at Costco...but that's a different story. Items showing as shipped!

I picked mine up about 1/2 hour ago they are ZR rated not r as addvertized, now i gota go out and wear out my connies so i can put on the new ones,,, My Costco is less than a mile from my house. they are 233/35ZR19,,,,, jim

Now that I think about it I should have gotten the front tires while I was ordering.
