Default rear wheel looks crap

Hi

Ive just changed my wheels and tyres on my coupe http://www.elitedirect.com/1-wheels/1-zito/168-black.php

the problem is that the front looks awesome the wheel fits nice and takes up the full arch but the back looks very small and it ruins the look of the car. Does any 1 have any ideas to sort this. I thought i would change the rear to a 20” but they don’t do 1

front 235/35/19
rear 275/30/19

Methinks it's the -30 aspect ratio. I went with 275-30X20 rears, and it fills it out quite well.

It seems that you lost 1/2" of height.

use this tool to compare different sizes:

Is your car lowered? If not that would make the tire/wheel look much better. Depending on the offset of your wheel you might need spacers on the wheels as well. If you post a pic I'm sure someone here will help you out as to how to low to go and what size spacers you should use. Sounds to me like what is going on here.

You have a number of things going on with this tire and wheel combo. First, the 235/35-19 is roughly 4 tenths of an inch taller then a 225/40-18. Second, the 275/30-19 is roughly 4 tenths of an inch smaller in diameter then the 255/35-19 you took off. Third, the visual contrast of an 18" wheel up front and a 19" wheel out back has been removed. These are the main reasons your rear wheels look alittle small. As mentioned before in this thread, offset and springs set can also have a big influence on how the car looks. If you plan on keeping the wheels the first thing I would do is move up to a larger rear tire. Perhaps a 285/30 or 295/30 if the rear wheels are wide enough and have the correct offset to support the added width of the tires. Second, since they don't make your wheel of choice in a 20" for the rear you may want to consider going back to an 18 up front to bring back the contrasting look in wheel size from front to rear.
