Default Chrome McLaren SLR wheels

I found this set of wheels on Ebay and was wonder what you guys think about putting these on a Crossfire? they are available in 18's and 19's. The link below is for a staggered set of 18's which is the size I run on my car. $725 for the set also looks good.

I've seen them several different models of Mercedes and they look fabulous in person. I wonder what they weigh?

I have too and agree. I'm not sure I'd want them in chrome on a Crossfire. I'd prefer matt to match the window surround.

FP, I looked up that ebay site and they showed both 18" and 19" available..... I prefer the silver and really like this wheel. The price is very good for a MB copy...

I personally LOVE the SLR rim. Not too keen on the chrome, but it may very well look awesome in person. Sounds like a nice price too. Would probably look great with your current set up.

Don't mean to hijack, but...

If anyone in Florida is thinking about the silver wheels and wants a staggered set, maybe we could each order the 18in & 19in and swap two wheels?

That may be the only way to get the OEM setup.

wouldn't it be easier to contact the seller and order them that way?

Very nice looking wheel in either finish.
By the way I just saw those wheels on a graphite in Alen's gallery.

You definitely want these in at least an 18 and 19 stagger. They look better in larger sizes. THe smaller sizes loose the effect..

Really? I am presently running a different Mercedes wheel in 18x8 and 18x9 with 225 40 18's and 265 40 18's tires and get tons of compliemnts. I also pay much less for tires and have a much bigger selection to chose from.

I have to side with you here. I WAS under the impression that 18's all around would detract from the looks, but using the larger profile tire in the rear fixes that issue, and it really looks sharp. Trust me, it looks great set up the way he currently has it. I also didn't think I would like rims without the lip on this car, but, that still looks sharp as well.
