Do I have camber issues? Look at these tires!
I put new wheels and tires on and upon taking the rears off the inside of the tires were worn so bad the cord was showing on one. I am having the dealer check it out on Thursday. Should i be concerned about this wear? The car has never been lowered (I have talked to the previous owners) or wrecked according to carfax. Looking at the rear of the wheels I have now it looks as if the wheels are slanted in slightly. I will let the pics do the rest. What do you guys think? One pic is of the old tires and one is of new wheels

My started to look the same way, the rears were wearing on the inside and the front were wearing on the outside, the alignment shop told me the toe was way off. had to replace them.

You definitely have issues but I would say the dealer should be able to give you a difinitive on what those issues are (camber or toe)
Also try and get a second opinion as dealers sometimes make mistakes.

Just replaced my rears today and looked identical. Had a 4 wheel alignment as well and here are some of the results(dont know what these numbers mean but many members will).
Left Rear
Specified Range Before After
Camber -1.6 to -0.6 Deg -1.2 -1.2
Toe 0.11 to 0.17 Inch 0.09 0.14
Right Rear
Camber -1.6 to -0.6 Deg -2.1 -1.6
Toe 0.11 to 0.17 Inch 0.10 0.14
Total Toe 0.22 to 0.33 Inch 0.19 0.29
Left Rear

Those tires were left on too long. If they'd come off when the wear bars were just shy of being flush at the side of the tire with the most wear you would have been a lot safer. And you might know how much difference in the wear.
The alignment can be set up to favor handing over wear. If the set up is for handling, you'll get the wear your tires illustrate.

I did have a 4 wheel alignment done late last year but by then I think most of the damage had been done. It was done at a chain store and not the dealership so maybe they didn't know what they were doing. My local dealer has good crossfire techs so hopefully they can tell me what the issue is. It is possible that the car had spacers at one point... I hadn't though about that.
This may be odd but the fronts are worn perfectly even across. I had to wait for my tax return before I bought new shoes. I was lucky to get them before I had an accident.

Please go back and find my post about Camber, you can measure it easily with a level at home. This will give you some info, looks like the rear is out, IMHO. Woody
Good info and nice read thanks! I went to the dealer today and the tech said the camber was good and only the toe was out. It's a good dealership and the tech used to have a crossfire and was active on here (Shawnkey) so I will take his word for it.
I will still check the camber with a level to see what it truly is however just because I think it would be interesting to know. But like some others have said a little negative camber is a good thing.
