Mercedes replica 30mm offset
Hey guys looking at options for rims in the future i am interested in getting this set of rims. The offset is 30mm all around and they will be 18" rims 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 rear. I need an offset of 35 in the front and 22 in the rear. The rear i can use a 10 mm spacer and i will be using wider tire in the rear 275/40/18 but might need to look at 265/40/18. for the front i would like to use a 235/40/18. what do you think about this i need help never bought rims and tire and went in a larger foot print.
i would like to get tires that are wide and have good sidewall that is why i am going to 18" i do not want to eat up tires hitting potholes or stuff and buying expensive rubber and limited to selection.

can anyone tell me what would be an optimal tire to run for 18's all around
i was thinking
front: 235/40/18
rear: 275/35/18
in the rear can i run something in a higher profile like 285/35/18 or 265/40/18

There are a couple members on here with that wheel, they should know. Do a search for SLR wheels. I don't really like them on our cars. They are too busy and any faux rivets are tacky. If you are going to do some wheels, do a 19 and 20 combo. Petrol, Mandrus, and TSW have some killer wheels with the proper offsets for our cars.
