Claim your thrown!

*Post of pictures and include the details of your setup and fender measurements, if possible.*

I believe the Crossfire has a great look once lowered. With the Crossfire's bold lines and aggressive styling it looks near exotic with a very low stance.

my car had one of the first eibach sets on it (m/b slk s320) in late '04. it's very low by comparison of today's available eibach pro-kit set.
eibach revised the kit and raised the lowering height. my car dropped at least 2 inches.

here are my ride height measurements: (note yard stick is from the ground up).

(rear):

i am very happy with the changes. i also added koni adjustable shocks to complete the suspension. however the shocks are not required...i just like a crisp rebound.

i purchased my eibach pro-kit suspension thru the: tirerack.com.

hope this helps!

Crispy, didn't you buy Andrew's setup? If you did, Andrew's still looks lower.

My car has new revised version of the Eibach Sports. The rear is 26 1/2, and the front is 25 1/4 from the ground.

Somehow Andrew's seems much lower.

Andrew did you have any trouble scraping on driveways, etc.? I just had the underbody plastic panels replaced as they were damage from hitting a super deep puddle going too fast.

I have the H&R cup kit for an SLK....and the thinnest spring pads...

Sits low, and rides like I'm in the back of an empty 5 ton truck. Handles great though...

Andrew, I cut my rear bumpstops about a third, but didn't cut the front ones... Did you cut yours in order to keep the stockish ride quality... I have to confess, I lowered around 2 years ago and am now starting to hate the ride....lol

I'm not as low as peter_k but mine rides smooth. Eibach Pro Kit with Koni adjustable dampers. I've had this set up for over 3 years, 23,000 miles, no problems... love it.

Peter-k, the first picture you have is one of the best pictures on this site, I think it could be made a really great shot by photo-shopping the two large white light areas out, especially the top right one and it could be a money making shot.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

The first picture was taken using a camera rig attached to the hood of the car... The car was going walking speed, and with the help of a long shutter, polarizer, dim lighting in the underground, etc. you get the effect. Then the camera rig was photoshoped out of the picture. Friend of mine designed the rig, and that was one of the test pictures I took with it to make sure it could support the weight of cameras (Nikon D3 with 17-35 2.8 lens).

Here's what one of the pictures looks like pre PS

Never mind. Is that long wide tube attached to the rig? Very nice photo work.

If you look closely (or if u have the full-size file..lol) the pole is attached to the hood via two massive suction cups...

Here's the picture with the "two big light areas" photoshopped out as per your request..lol

He photo-shopped more than the rig out. Very nice job. Kudos.....
