~ between $60 - $100.

(go with the higher priced company that guarantees against scratches on the rim edge/lip when mounting - and uses of teflon coated equipment).

Whoa, Nelly.

Not necessarily the higher priced guy, the guy that can actually do the job. Ask them specifically if they have the machine to handle a Crossfire 19X9 rim without damage.

And yes, it should cost around $100 for the lot.

BTW: a lot of folks are buying from TireRack. Also give Roadway a google. I found my Bridgestones about $100 less.

Also discounttiredirect.com (free shipping)
Also Discount Tire shops will mount & balance for ~$20 a tire and include lifetime balancing and free rotation every 5-6k miles.

Just paid $56.00 to have my two rear tires mounted and balanced on my aftermarket wheels. They also use nitrogen. As I recall last spring when I had my all 4 new wheels mounted etc its was around $110.00 I will tell you I did my homework before choosing a shop. I literally asked people with nice aftermarket wheels on their cars who did their work. I'm glad I did because Executive Tire in Rockville, Maryland is excellent!

im going with the hankook deal on tirerack and putting 275 on the back, does anyone have an idea how off the speedo will be with doing this? the 275/35/19 vs 255/35/19 is about .5 inch difference if i remember right.

Check out the tire/wheel calculator on the Rims&Tires website. All kinds of good info, including speedometer variance with off-size tires and rims relative to OEM specs. The 275's are 0.6" taller and will travel 2.2% faster than the stock 255's (100 mph vs. 98 mph) ... tell that to the nice trooper.

Happy trails.

BTW: which wheels drive the speedo ... fronts or rears?

I looked into the Tire Rack prices last summer and was told by a NTB dealer that I would be better off having him order the tires and he would match the price and cover the warranty locally rather than having to deal with a third party when problems arise.
Maybe there is more to it than that I dont know.

Please tell me you are in Dallas! Most places around here quote $20 each. I once found the best price for tires on Discount Tires web site. I took the price into my local Discount Tire shop and they would not match the price, so I went a block away to NTB and they were happy to match the price and take my money. Most of the shops that also sell custom wheels have the eqipment to mount tires without hurting the wheels but it is a good idea to find out if they have teflon coating.

Sorry, we are in Indiana. Actually, NTB (National Tire & Brake) is part of our BIG O TIRE franchise. If you let them know that Big O Tire in Terre haute, Indiana charges $10 ea they may match it. They can just call me and verify!
