Companies who make after market rims?
Hi guys,
I'm having a really hard time finding any 15 inch rims for my Xfire. Its winter here and I have 15 inch winter tires I'd like to use but nobody anywhere can provide me with either rims to put them on or direction in where to look for some that would.
I went to Mercedes and the parts guys best solution was new rims and tires for $520 per wheel.
Has anyone ever seen any multi fit rims anywhere that fit their Xfire? Am I SOL on this?
Even a rims company told me they don't have anything even though they boast they can get rims for anything.
Ideas?

look on e bay 15" mercedes wheels should fit..offset will be way off but only for the winter (whatever that is ) LOL (81 degrees here today) they should work. jim
no that is the bolt pattern you want 5 on 112 (bolt pattern) ET20 that is the offset of factory wheels on the rear,,factory fronts are 37, if you found some rims with a 2" lip(on the front edge of the rim) like the ones below, and it has 5 112 with offset (ET) of 40 to 47 it would also work,, because of the lip,,, if there is no lip your offset needs to be close to 20. 20 to 27 would work, look at you factory wheels the REAR ones there is no lip and the offset is 20 ,,,look at these below they are 17's 1.5 lip with 47 offset. jim

Thanks!
I also found this: WheelAdapter.com is your number one source for wheel adapters, wheel spacers, used wheels, and wheel studs.
The guy wants to know the bore of any after market rims and he'll make spacers that should allow the rim to fit.
Any issues foreseeable with that, guys?
He seems pretty knowledgeable.

I believe so. I tried putting one wheel on today without the spacers (don't have'em yet) and it fit on np. It's just too snug and would never rotate inside the wheel well. It needs to be further out and the rim is too narrow.
The brakes didn't seem to be an issue thankfully.
The guy from the link I posted called me (customer service is apparently alive and well and living in California) and he told me to just get the center bore measurements from the OEM which I am in the process of doing now.
I'll keep this thread updated since winter tires/rims for this car have proven to be a real obstacle. I referenced this forum when swapping my stereo out since no one I went to in and around Toronto could be of any help so I figure this will be my 'giving back'.
