Default Dude! Continentals!

So, I think I am going to get these(Continental ExtremeContact DWS) instead of the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus.
It will save me $500, and they get better ratings.
It says they are 'NEW!'. Does anyone have these, or are they that 'new'?

Continental ExtremeContact DWS

Oh yeah, I 'searched'. just wondering if anyone else has tried these yet.

The guy from TireBarn told me that he would be iffy buying from Tirerack.com b/c if the tire comes with a pinhole or something, it will be a pita to get them to take it back b/c they might think I did it.
Surely they aren't like that, they sell tires all of the time. Has anyone ever had any problems w/ tirerack.com?

Howard,
Take note, the Conti's ARE summer season tires only (albeit wet/dry). May be relevant as Indiana gets kinda cold from what I hear. The Michelins are year round All Season.

The guy from TireBarn is afraid of losing your business because he knows Tirerack has better prices and they ship incredibly quickly.

Run - don't walk - away.

They almost look like snow tires. I used tire rack for the rims for my caddy and one had a giant scratch on it they sent me a new one overnight free of charge. Great people.

"Continental ExtremeContact DWS (Ultra High Performance All-Season)"

All-Season?

Discount Tire did not have them on their website? Do you think if I went into one of their stores they could have them ordered or not?

I have a set of these and I love them. They have great grip. I didnt think I would like them this much. Good grip while cornering as well. I highly recommend these to anyone considering new tires.

These are the ones I'm buying too. I've heard great reviews of them, and they are an A/S tire, which is what I need here in Minnesota. the DWS stands for Dry Wet aand Snow. they have a 50K mileage guaranty on them too. try to find that on a performance tire. And the price is very reasonable. My tire dealer at Quicklanes shows 130 for the fronts and 200 for the rears.

I think the site said they are y rated which is 186. I have General Exclaim UHP tires that are Y rated (up to 186) and love them.

Go ahead and order them, so you'll at least be on the list. You will LOVE these tires.
