Default Slammed the Crossfire

Not being one to simply lower a car, I went all out just to see what I could get away with.
Honestly i wish it would go lower, but im less than an inch from the top of the front and rear upper fender wells.

Setup is.

SRT-6 Springs
1 dot spring pads all the way around
1 coil cut off the front
1.5 in the rear
cut bumpstops

It rides stiff, not really bouncy at all. Car could use more spring rate so I might try some spring blocks first.
No rubbing issues, other than full lock left and right, it rubs the inner fenders. Sometime this week Im going to head down to the shop and trim the inner fender as well as some fender rolling.

I can say now that the car definitely needs spacers and some adjustable rear arms. Camber is a little extreme but tire wear isnt an issue to me since I get free tires.

Currently I ahve about 2.5" of ground clearance.

Teaser pics until I wash the car, the weather has been nasty lately and its depressingly dirty.

No kidding! I'd take a set of 295/30R19's and 255/35R18 in any high performance tire. You could get them free, sell them to me and John cheap and make some nice coin on these

Well, one of the perks of working for Southeast Drift is that I get free take offs, just pay for mounting and balance.

I'm rolling it outside to wash it now, gave up on tinting the tail lights and side markers... I can lay down any vinyl, but this **** is just frustrating.

Man,

Your brave. How did you manage to not rub with 1 dot pads with the shock bumpers trimmed as well. I'm still having rubbing issues with 2 dot pads all around and 1 coil cut all around. I got a feeling your in for a surprise.

Talking Re: Slammed the Crossfire

If you push the car it almost hits in stock form, lowering it causes huge issues with interference and rapid camber wear on the tires, all four of them.Woody

I've been driving it, it doesnt rub, at all. unless im pulling into my garage (full lock)
im also running 215/40 and 245/35 rears.
I've also reworked the inner fenders with a heat gun, im rolling the fenders this weekend.

I'm running so much negative camber that it clears without issue, the tire stretch helps too.

I also still clear speed bumps (somehow, to my amazement)

Tire wear doesnt matter to me as previously stated because I get free tires...

Here are some photos from tonight, ignore the quality because my digi stopped working, so i ahd to use my cellphone. I'll get more tomorrow.

And just to show you how much camber I have in the rear, I could probably take 3 degrees out and it would still clear just fine.

One person has bagged his, but I don't like bags, not on a car atleast.
Everywhere I drive is flat, no big hills, etc.

Looks great, how much lower is the 1 spot than the stock pad? I cut 1 round all the way around on my SRT, but I am no where near as low as you. Hey Forsyth is just up the road from me. What size spacers are you thinking about going with after you roll the fenders?

Well, stock it had a one dot rear and a three dot front.
I live in forsyth county, not forsyth ga think north ga, lol
I have a bunch of friends in warner robins with 240's and such

The one dot pad is 5mm, the 3 dot is 17 iirc.

Im not sure on spacer size until I get adjustable rear arms to take some of the camber out, but probably 3-5 front and 5-10 in the rear, to get everything flush with the fender.

I just found a speedbump I wont get over, I can clear the big ones, but the baby ones like they have in front of kroger arent so exhaust friendly.

that would be cool to have a meet. I think we have several of us around. Besides you and I, there are a few that I know of: MetalMilitiaSRT, Buggin, PizzaGuy, and special_kxoxo. Maybe we need to put a feeler out and see if we can put something together.
