225/35/20 or 225/30/20??
does anyone have 225/320 setup up on their front wheels with any issues? my local tire shop told me it wouldnt fit, so im stuck with 225/30/20 but the ride is way too rough for me

Re: 225/35/20 or 225/30/20??
i doubt if 5mm sidewall height is going to make much ride diff. could be 20's on the front or the suspension setup you are running

ya i have the stock suspension, with the 20's all around. I took it to another tire shop and asked them if they could try to see if they would fit and they do BUT they are rubbing in the front. and the ride is amazingly better, a lot more smooth now that i put the 225/35/20's on there instead

better watch that rubbing. sidewall blowouts on the front at speeds can be disaterous!

I only ask because I am running 225/30-20 up front and with my backspace/offset and a stock suspension, I have to use 10mm spacers in the front to keep from rubbing. I would be very interested to see a picture of the wheels and how they look in relation to the wheel well, also, a picture from behind the wheel to see how close it is to the bottom suspension nut. |
Re: 225/35/20 or 225/30/20??
yea but i actually took care of the rubbing my self, I just cut some rubber on the wheel well where it was rubbing and now its very good ride with no rubbing...
btw I dont have any spacers.. as soon as i get a chance i will get you a pic
