Default Well, Finally Got Off the Crapper w/ my wheels

You all know I've been having a hard time deciding on wheels for a long time. I really like the look of the OEM wheels, and one of my options has been having them chromed. There are so many aftermarket wheels I think are hot, but could not pull the trigger. As nice as some aftermarket wheels look, they don't all look good on the Crossfire, IMO.
Well, the SRT wheels grew on me, and have to say I really like the way they look on the roadsters.

So, I swapped for a set of SRT wheels and had them chromed. They will not have the centers. I bought a set of blank (no logo) center caps and chrome lugs. I should have them in about 10 days.

Those will look great on you Roadster. I hope the chrome is easier to clean than stock SRT wheels. The backs aren't to bad but the front wheels can be a pain when they get covered with brake dust.

FP, you beat me to it. I was thinking of doing the same, The Magnus Millinium wheels are very similar in looks to the SRT but I liked the lugs being covered by a center cap. One question though, why go to the expense of chrome lugs if they are covered by the center cap? By the way, where did you get them chromed?

Thumbs up Re: Well, Finally Got Off the Crapper w/ my wheels

I to like the look of the srt wheels . Change the factory hub centers and lugs and i think they look a good as any aftermarket wheel. Do not care for the factory centers, they look like something that came on a land yacht IMO. Great choice FP If i did go aftermarket i like the look of these

Thanks, I'm not using the OEM center covers. Instead, I bought center caps (no logo) that cover only the center hole. That's why I'm going with the chrome lugs.

I sent them to LA-Wheel for chroming. I'm getting the same set I sent out.

I'm anxious to see this on your Crossfire. My main reason for preferring the center cover is ease in cleaning. The cap/lug nut combo probably would look better.

You are going to look a little more OEM, but damn if those chromed SRT wheels do not look exactly like a little smaller version of my wheels.....

I totally agree. Your wheels are the closest to OEM. I really like the OEM look.

Great look FP. They'll be beautiful on your car.

I've decided on the Bremmer Kraft BR02 wheels, can't decide yet on the bright silver or the chrome, but leaning to the chrome.

I've seen the chrome ones on a Crossfire, and they look great.

Hey FP you and I talked about wanting to change wheels but we both liked the OE wheels and didn't really want to stray far from the look but I think you did it! Those are going to look GREAT !!!
