For less than $30 I ordered these to replace the wheel bearing in the front hub on my 2007 Roadster. I have over 80K miles and get some wandering. I could feel a little give on the wheel when shaken.

To pull and inspect took 30 minutes. The inner bearing had been hot at some time and needs replacement

Chrysler wants over $600 to do the job and I think I can just replace the bearings.

I was surprised on how many MB vehicles this bearing set covers and assumed they would fit.

I'll probably get a used Hub (junk yard) and replace the bearing before pulling the wheels. I'll post the results when I know.

On the site it says they fit the SLK320 and the SLK32 AMG as well.

 

BTW what up with the used hub????????? You have lost me as to what your doing here. Thanks Woody

 

I would assume that he intends to change the outer raceways in the spare hub so that he can just do a quick change when he removes the original hub.
