Check out this post: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-evo-k110.html

Since then, I know many members have gone this route, and everyone seems to be extremely pleased with them. Gary posted a follow up recently with his impression after 10K miles on them, and he is still very happy with them.

I say go with what others on here have given rave reviews for. I would get the Hankook Ventus v12.

The Wheels section in the Toronto Star rated the Hankooks the all round best buy in this Saturdays paper. They would be my choice if I needed them, maybe in three years or so.

I just bought the Hankooks yesterday & my test run with them went GREAT!!! The back end feels like it is glued to the road + they are very quiet. I only needed rear tires so I went with the larger size that Gary has on his car. I think they look really beefy and mean. The new size is 285/35/19 - they cost a little more than stock but the look was worth it. I also recommend the Road Force balancing for your new tires. Costs about $10 more per tire here in FL but they match the tire to the wheel so you will have less weights on your rim.

I need back tires soon, I went to the tire store and they want $700 installed for Michelin PS2. My wife asked "what did they say at the tire store"? What I told her was $700, What slipped my mind was it was only for two. Is everyone happy with the Hankook's?

I went to Discount Tire near the house, and placed the order. $900 for the 4 tires installed. I was a little disapointed in the response of the sales guy, he said the tire was OK for an entry level tire. I guess time will tell, getting them installed this week end.

Mounted up and ready for the dragon. New tires sure make the garage smell good.

Scott - I pulled the trigger on new Michelins last week. Phenomenal improvement in handling vs. the stock Contis, and yes, the garage smells great.

See you at O'Charley's Thurs night.
