What modifications do I need to make to put SRT6 springs in NA Crossfire?
I recently found a set of low mileage SRT-6 springs (only 7,000 original miles). I am considering selling them or installing on my 2005 limited coupe. I don't want to mess around with adjusting the ride height and camber, etc. Can I simply install the SRT-6 springs without making any other adjustments?
Thanks,
Steve
Thanks,

If you are not wanting to adjust the ride height, I would keep the springs that you have. The SRT springs are going to make for quite a bit stiffer of a ride.

Hey thanks for the response. As I mentioned above, I'm not looking to adjust the ride height or camber. However, I would like a tighter/stiffer ride. I've driven the SRT6 before, I like how it handles. I just wanted to confirm that I can simply swap out the SRT6 springs for the stock NA springs.

I would GUESS that a shop will charge you about 4 hours of labor...maybe less..... you need to find a shop that does MB cars and will have the correct spring compressor...
I just had a shop quote me 1,250 for springs shocks, and replace my calipiers and new rotors...labor only. I'm looking for another place. Is it just me or does that seem high.
no thats kinda high, I believe mech labor rate is around $60-80. an hour. You sure thats not the total price including parts?
If you were to buy a Mercedes spring compressor off of Ebay for about $180 a spring swap is very easy to do yourself if you have some experience working on a car.
bring the car to my house. i can do springs in about 20 mins per corner! all it costs is beer and pizza!
john book why are you replacing the calipers? do you mean pads and rotors?
