Default Looking for wheels

Where would be a good starting point to find 19's in a staggered size of 8-9wide in front and 10-11 wide in rear? looking for a nice deep lip. prefer a 20mm offset or less

20mm will not work on a stock crossfire....you would have to widen the rear and front fenders...Also if your looking to get into the 10 11 rear wheels you have to find a nice forged wheel...most wheel companies you will find will have 9.5 as the widest! 34 35 36 offsets is what your going to running!

good luck

was planning on modding the fenders. Wanting to do a different look then most with the crossfire. i can probably live with the 9.5 wide for awhile. would prefer a 10-11 though. Any recommendations on companies to look at for the forged wheels?

I went with I forged as shown, I went 18x9.5 front and 19x11.5 rear....But my second srt is going through alot of custom body work...has been in my old shop for little over 8 months now.

saviniforgedsv28r22x951.jpg

There are numerous companies out there, ccw, hre, dpe, adp, adv1. volk, axis, forgeline, works wheels...

you can run a 10 inch rear wheel if you can find them. I was running 305 30 19 michelins on the rear of my 2nd srt6 and it looked great! My wifes srt has a 19x9.5 and houses a 295 30 19...runs a looks great as well!

what are you talking about?! I believe he meant around 20 for the rear. our stock rear is 22mm. 20mm will absolutely work on the rear... people have put 5mm spacers on the stock wheel that gives it a 17mm offset. and so many people have 10" wide rear on this site alone that are not forged wheels. 10.5's and 11's has been done alot on crossfires and slks with simple fender rolling. please know what you are talking about before you confuse people.

very beautiful iforged wheels, though, I would hope you are not running around 35 on the 11.5. that would require more work than if it was closer to the stock 22mm.

I didn't say you can't run a 10 or an 11 inch rear wheel! I simply said that it will be hard to find them? Most manufactures such as tsw, mrr, axis do not make a 10 in rear wheel in a 19 inch diameter!!!! in a 20 inch wheel it is very common! not 19. Do your homework! Secondly the stock offset for crossfire wheels are not 22 20 the front is a 34 and the rear is a 22!!!

IMAG0125.jpg one of my srt6's with a 19x9.5 rear with 32mm offset on 295 30 19 tires!!!!!! front is a 19x9 with a 34 mm offset! as you can see a PERFECT FIT!

The iforged wheels are wrapped in 305 30 19 michelins!!!

I too run wider rims, with the rears being 9.5" wide, wrapped in 295/30R19 Hankooks. In the front, I believe, the rims are 8" wide wrapped in 245/35R18 Hankooks.

Just as above, they fit perfectly. Also, with those sizes, the tires "pooch" out slightly, which gives a really meaty look. I'll have to look at my notes at home for the offset and spacers I use.

If you want an easy tool for figuring what will and won't fit, check out my wheel stuff spreadsheet in the SRT6 section's general documentation collection.

EDIT: Okay, I'm home and pulled my documentation. My wheels are as follows:

TSW Nogaro Silver 5x112 Bolt pattern (Discontinued now)

Front: 18x8.0 with a 32mm offset. No Spacer. 245/35R18 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
Rear: 19x9.5 with a 35mm offset. 10mm Spacer. 295/30R19 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

They "Pooch" the same as my Yokohama Advan tires of the same sizes. So the right side picture in my signature is the same fitment. Just no spacers in the back, that is why they look a bit pulled in. I added the spacers after that track event due to inner wheel well rubbing high up during extreme articulation of the suspension. I also DID have roll my rear fenders slightly after adding the spacers, but nothing dramatic.

Cheers!

ugh, please read my post more carefully, I did say the REAR was 22mm offset and that I believe he was talking about the rear! trust me I've done my homework, I've seen far too many crossfires with wheels that look too far in.
perfect fit? I beleive the engineers had a closer perfect fit with a 22mm in the rear. and I think it looks even better with a 12mm spacer like Andrews...

that equates to a 10mm offset in the rear! (et 22mm - 12mm spacer = et10mm)

Your wheels definitely do not look bad, but that fat *** tire in the back is definitely helping to compensate! also, isnt your rear tire a 305 30 19 in that picture?
that is what you said it was when you were selling those wheels..........

Do what you feel is right!! and I'll do what I have been doing for many years. We will leave it at that! Fair enough?

as you can clearly see in my picture the rear tire does not play a significant roll in width to the outside! the tires is still with in the bead of the wheel! as if weren't the tire would not mount! So obviously that does not play a major roll to the outside of the wheel and tire height! If you know what that means!!!!! those are 295 30 19 inch tires as stated before!!!! would you like a close up>?

I have run 305 30 19 and they have been mounted on my Iforged wheels!

you still haven't proven any points in this conversation nor will you ever as I know what I'm running and I know what my crossfire can and can't run!!!!

So good luck to the op in this thread as stated before...if you need any real help or help finding wheels...i'll more than happy! Either way far from what Durden has to say!!! It will be very unlikely to find your wheels in the 10 and 11inch rear wheels sizes, unless going forged or custom 2 or 3 piece you will probably not find them in the 19

if you dont think these 4 different crossfires with 25mm offsets looks better being more flush you, sir, are on crack! these are the 4 best looking aftermarket wheels I have seen on the crossfire. No offense to the owner of the first xfire, the offset is just a little wrong.

anyways, I'm done arguing about this. It is immature, and in the end it is up to the owners preference.

If you like the tuck look with a wheel closer to the suspension, get a higher offset.

If you like the wider track, with more brake clearance and more flush look go lower offset.

but then again, freakinfast has been doing this for years, lol

no need to apologize. I think i may have found my wheels of choice. depending on the actuall offset i think i can make them work. I will need a 5x112-5x114.3 hub centric adapter. But a friend has a set of 20"s that have my interest. They will fit the look i am going for quite nicely.

The wheels are Axis Matrix in a black with rose gold lip. I am thinking of blacking out the silver pieces on the car, black chroming the chrome pieces, and having the front and rear fenders pulled, rolled, or chop and add material to get the body to hug them. With a 10" wide rear and 9" wide front. I am going for the first stanced crossfire. gettin quotes for an air ride setup. gonna be a different but hopefully attractive crossfire. Any ideas on how to remove the rear Chrome "wings" emblem?

Here are the wheels! Next on the decision making is how to get the car vip style low.

Can someone post pictures of the H&R Cup kit installed? I need to have the car sit basically "on the wheel" If i cant get it low enough with static drop then it will have to be air ride.

Are the SRT wheels different offsets than the OEM Limited wheels?

Because I have a 22 offset OEM on the rear, and 34 would not sit perfectly....

Get some dental floss or fishing line and go for it. You will need some 3m adhesive remover after they are off and will need to polish the area when you are done to remove the light scratches and rejuventate the paint.

IMHO it looks lots and lots better without any badging....

the 34mm sits perfectly cause of the wider wheels. 22 for the factory 9" wide is great but as you widen the wheels you need to "pull" the wheel in to keep the extra 1/2-1" in line
