Approximately 30,300 miles and 6 years or so.

Tread separated on me at about 3am the other night. Got the car towed to a shop who called me the next morning saying they couldn't mount tires that size. Towed it to another shop who let me ship tires from TireRack to them and mounted/balanced for $96.

I just reviewed the dashcam footage to make sure the techs didn't do anything silly. He raised my spoiler a time or two.. was kind of humorous to watch.

Amazing. You must have driven the car like a fragile flower all those six years. Just think what you missed.

Most of us were lucky to get to 20K. I am at 36K on a 2006 NA and going to the tire shop for my third set on the rears.

Ask anybody,I drive like a wimp.

I'll be lucky to get a year out of my rears. Yes, I've been having lots of fun with mine.

I've had the car 3 months and put 7500 of those miles on it (it's an '05).. let's just say I was taking advantage of slick roads when it finally gave.

Funnily enough, the tread separated but it kept pressure long enough to drive it up a wrecker .. and still had pressure the next morning

I wasn't anticipating the expense until the month after next so I just threw the cheap Hankooks on it.. the road noise is incredibly diminished now.. love it.

I bought my '06 in january of '08 so I am running just under a set a year. However, I do have a set of Contis from an '04.

Still mounted on the original rims sitting in my garage with at least a 1/4" if tread on them. That's 8 years OMG!

However, they haven't seen the road for some time. Yes they still hold air.

Next week, the spare set of rims get my one year old Generals as I put the new set of XP's on the car.

Wow, 30k+ is really good. Which stock tires did you have, the Michelin's or Conti's?
