Brake sensor wire replacement required?

I'm going to swap out my brake pads, hopefully within the next week or so.

After searching, I didn't find a definite answer: Am I required to replace the brake wear sensor wires, or can I leave the stock ones in place if the indicator light has not yet come on?

Thanks!

Re: Brake sensor wire replacement required?

I don't see any reason to replace the sensor/wire unless it is broke. The sensor and wire can be removed from your old pads and installed on your new pads. Very easy once you see it.

I can agree with James. Just put new Duralast Ceramics on the fronts, reused the sensor wire with no problems, yet....;)
