Default Ceramic Rotors???

I was watching the "How it's Made" show the other evening, and they were showing how "ceramic rotors" were made. Very interesting, but a question came to mind. I noticed the two examples shown, one said Brembo and the other said Ferrari. Now the question, if ceramic rotors are used, do you also use ceramic pads as well? They stated that the ceramics last much longer than the normal cast iron ones, do they make ceramic rotors for the Crossfire? How cool would that be. It would seem a combination of both (if practicle) would be virtually dust free even more than just pads alone.
Please don't roast me too much, I'm new to all of these high tech innovations, just curious...
