Exclamation VERY Bumpy Ride

2004 Crossfire 6 speed with 96k miles. Just returned from mechanic to see if he can diagnose a really bumpy ride by needing new shocks. Car rides very bumpy, started a month ago. I feel every bump even minor/small road issues. I've had the car for 6 years and this problem just started. Tires are 1 year old in great shape. He ran a diagnostic - no issues. Inspected shocks - in great shape, no leaks, cracks, etc. ANY Suggestions and what the problem might be?

Inspecting a shock just because it looks good dont make it good , also I would have lower control arm bushings looked at. and the upper bushings as well... Good luck and I hope you get it resolved .

It's a long shot but I had a shock collect water that would freeze and lock the shock in cold weather.-You can also make test runs over a 1"+/- board to determine if both sides are affected.

Thats a good idea i never thought of using a board to isolate the bad side ...good point.

and don't forget to check the area at the top where the rear shocks mount. Have had problems with that area cracking....and having to re weld it...

That's the roll bars that are breaking at the weld.

When I bought my car, the springs were both broken in the front, resulting in a lower, and much more bumpy ride. Any chance you have a spring that is broken? I would HOPE any mechanic would catch this, but who knows...
