Default Rear brake upgrade

Hello all... I have been doing a lot of reading and search on here, MBWorld and other MB sites for rear brake upgrade options. In a perfect world I would like a 4 piston rear caliper that uses the stock 300mm rear disc but that does not seem to exist. Next option was 05 CLK/SLK55 rear calipers and 345mm discs but I cannot seem to find a source to match my front rotors I have.
Maybe I should just sell the kit I have now but they only have 150 miles on them and its depressing to think of how money I would lose and the price to ship everything. Enough ranting.....Do 4 piston rear calipers that work with 300mm discs exist??

Thanks,
Bryan

Sorry I meant 330mm (my current fronts are 345). I have drilled/slotted centric premiums.

factory slk55 rotors are approx 375$ a set and are drilled and slotted. be aware that running 4 pots in the rear wont allow you to run drag wheels less than 18" (ie: clk rims voxx 17") i tried 3 different sets and had to go to a 18" rim which also limits the dr's available to you.
cl55 or certain s600 calipers will work much cheaper and all you need is a 10mm id x 12mm od x 19mm tall aluminum sleeve to insert into the caliper mount holes and its plug and play rudy can help you with the part # and sourcing them if thats the route you want to go.

Factory S600 wheels are 17" so maybe I will chance the S600 calipers if I decide that I actually need 4 piston rear calipers. If I do that then Ill have to go with 6 piston fronts too

you can run the 4 pot fronts with the 4 pot rears. no issues. the 17" s600 is the older model with a 2 pot rear sorry

Really... you start this thread yesterday just when I picked up 4 boxed of these... Here is another option if someone does not want to mess around getting different parts from different cars.

4 pot rears. I will take more pics if you want

Great looking brake set up.
The label on that Coors Light is blue and ready for consumption. I'll bet it didn't lay on it's side for too long with you around.

new vs used i have 875$ in my setup for the rears (used calipers and new rotors ) and 1800$ for the 6 pot front setup (used calipers and new 2 piece lightweight rotors) total 2675$
savings of approx 1500$ by researching a bit and watching for the right parts. of course the entire slk55 setup can be purchased at oediscountparts.com for about 4200$

Could be Beaner's way of putting things to scale: Caliper overall length= 1.5 beers long

Please do not confuse Coors Light with beer.
