Default Track Brake Setup for a Base Model

I'm on here for my Dad's 05 Crossfire.

He is driving faster in NASA HPDE then his Hawk HPS pads can handle anymore.

I am looking at two possible options:

What parts are needed to swap up to SRT-6 brakes or just the calipers to improve the pad selection.

Or has anyone made any brake cooling ducts?

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks in advance/

There is info for the C32/SRT-6 swap on here.

I saw, years ago, a write-up for a nice ducting system, omitting the fog lamps and using those 2 openings. If you start there, it's as easy as can be. Brackets and hose.

I have the SLK32 (SRT6) brake swap done on my car and have never had any issues with braking on track or during autoX events, SS lines help with predictability and pedal firmness as well.

There are several SRT guys who have upgraded or even a wrecked setup from MrMopar (our resident parts guy). I waited patiently and got mine for a steal, they are out there. Good luck and have fun at the track

Edit: Since it is a base, brake cooling ducts would be easy, and as Max says, use the fog light cutouts, since the base does not come with fogs. If you end up doing the 32/SRT swap, I highly dought you will need the additional cooling.
