Need all 4 shocks replaced does this make sense?
i have a 2006 base coupe that i got about 2 months ago. I have very little history of of the car but a few days ago i blew out my drivers front tire in a parking lot and drove it the 5 minutes to firestone because they were run flat tires. After getting the front two tires replaced (because they were almost bald) the wheels started to make a sqeaking sounds and my sister said the ride was bumpier than usual (with new tires). So i took my crossfire back up to Firestone. They said all my shocks need to be replaced. I only have 46,000 miles on my car and i do not know when the yellow koni shocks were installed, but ive read on other forums people getting more miles out of them then on my car total? Does this makes sense or should i be weary of the Firestones services?
46,000 miles seems to soon to replace oem shocks muck less koni
Does not sound right, should have made noise with old tires also. WHERE TIRES BALANCED
PROPERLY.MAYBE ONE are more OF THE NEW TIRE IS OUT OF ROUND THIS WOULD CAUSE ROUGH RIDE . The koni shocks have a lifetime warranty to original buyer may do some searching and find buyer if possible, if shocks are bad.
I would have problem checked by some one else, ALso Shocks should be replaced. in pairs
Good Luck
