Hawk ceramic pads vs Disc Italian Kevlar titanium
I'm trying to decide between these for my SRT. Has anyone tried both to give a comparison on braking power and dust?
You are comparing two entirely different materials, pretty hard to do. I have the Disc Italia Hyper Ceramic pads and I think that they are extremely good although a but pricey. They are a step up from the Kevlar titanium but I think the D-I product is generally a good one.
I haven't seen much feedback on the Hawk ceramics, just the HPS.
I thought about the Hyper Ceramics. A bit more than I wanted to spend. Do they have to heat up like some ceramic pads or do they have a good bite cold? Seems like everyone on here likes the Disc Italia products in general.

I've never taken it to the track. It's mostly a weekend car for me that I drive aggressively on the street. With that in mind, I won't be putting them under a rigorous heat load. I'm looking for more stopping power and less dust.
How would you compare the dust levels from the Hawk HP Plus and Proterfield R4S with the Hyper Ceramics?
I only had OEM pads which to me had a lot of dust. Than Rotex Gold, they were great on being low dust. Now I have stoptech on the front and Poterfield on the back, I have not noticed any dust on these even with the 2 day track event. One interesting thing on the Poterfield is that my rear rotor have a dark color now, the same color as the pads. The fronts still look shiny.
