Default Konis installed, car feels spongy / wobbly

Hi,

Konis installed on my srt-6
Stock ride height, stock springs, stock n/a alloys

The actual dampers seem to be stiff but the vehicle seem to be very wobbely, spongy. Does that mean my springs are knackered?

The install is quite straight fwd so I cannot see where anything can have gone wrong.

Any suggestions?

If new springs is the only solutions, which ones are the stiffest ones?

I have mine set to full soft and they seem OK to me but I do not go blasting around the road or track. My fishing buddy thinks the ride is still hard.
Maybe it's all in your head, to much of that brännvin and your all spongy and wobbly.

Haha brännvin is always good
Well o have been testing different firmness settings but I feel it is wobbely. Tight up and down but ftim side to side I think it has gone worse. Must say, one of the koni dampers (front) is broken/leaking (getting replacement this week) this probably have a big impact. I also think i will be needing a 4 wheel alignment as the rears are now spinning more than usual. Are our rears adjustable? It feels like they onle ride on the inside of the tire.

The shocks only go up and down and have no side to side support function at all. I think your trying to feel the difference with the new shocks and are noticing things that have nothing to do with the swap. The side to side is most likely alignment related. Side to side weaving will feel sloppy if the front bushings are shot and will contribute to some wandering of the nose under heavy braking. If something is off in the rear of the car it usually becomes obvious under panic stops as in the tail of the car will be unstable and move from side to side. This assumes it's dry outside, no snow or water dude! Wearing the inside of the tires is a camber issue. Sounds to me the first step is a trip to an alignment shop.

Thanks for the replies. I am replace the whole draglink, lower ball joints and idler arm bushing next weekend. Inner bushings on the drag link is a *****, as you must buy the whole drag link. I changed everything except for the inner. And they are of course the ones being bad.

Anyways, one of the konis ate leaking green goo. So will teplace it this weekend aswell. But one q, i have some small amount of liquid under the "hat" top of damper where you put the plastic piece to turn the firmness. Is that normal. Is on all four.

Just drove it and I think draglink, idler arm and 4 wheel alignment will solve ghe dilemma.

If you mean around that flat little key thing that gets turned when you adjust them then the answer is no.
