KYB Shock review
KYB Shock review
Just wanted to share, I installed new KYB gas a just shocks which was an easy install. Just unbolt the top and bottom and pop in the new one. These are a lot stiffer than stock, mind you I bought my xfire at 86K with the original shocks on it and I'm now at about 96K.
Anyways a lot stiffer ride. You can feel every bump on the road but they're not as painful on my back or my wife's. Guam has some of the worst roads though so I consider the conditions I drive in to be very extreme.
Just in case anyone was looking at these I think these are great for the price. On RockAuto I paid $270 with shipping part numbers 4731 and 4732 I believe.
*Update*
These shocks are for the SLK320 which has 16" rims versus our 18/19" set up. These shocks might be better for a lowered car I think? Anyone have an input?
