Default Alignment Options

I would like to suggest a specific thread in this forum on Alignment. I have read through most of the threads in the Wheels, Breaks, Tires and Suspension Forum and have found bits and pieces but nothing in one place that talks to things like:
Settings for normal street driving (whatever normal means)
Autocross driving
Course driving
Drag strip driving
Are there differences in the SRT Alignment and the Limited?
Etc.
Since many of us are now making changes to our suspensions to give us more options in terms of camber, tow and caster it would be great to have some discussions on what’s working and what’s not.

For the street and good tire wear I'd stick to the factory specifications. For autocross and / or a road course it depends on your springs, roll bars and tires. If all stock I'd say around -1.8 to -2 for the front camber for the track. K&W's and street tires around -2.2 to -2.4. Race tires and K&W's around -2.7. More than that and the insides of the tires wear more than the outside because of the heavy braking eating them up. Less than -2.7 and the outside goes first. On the rear I prefer -1.2 for street and track with 1/8 to 1/4 toe in. The front will turn in much better with some toe out but the car can be unstable under braking so I run 0 toe. These are my general observations. We'll see what settings work best with Ground Control in the near future.

Default Re: Alignment Options

Are the factory specs for the SRT the same as the Limited or NA?
The specs from the service manual say;
Front Toe 2.5
Rear Toe 1.2
Front Camber -1.22
Front Caster 5.20
Rear Camber -1.13
I would like to preserve the new tires I just put on the car but still want the handling and performance that I bought the car for. I don’t go to the track I just get a little rambunctious every now and then.
