We had the same problem with my son's Crossfire. The way we got them off was to raise the car with the jack, so the wheel was just barely off the ground. We then took a 2 inch diameter by 5 foot long pipe, and with a combination swing while dragging it on the driveway to avoid hitting the wheel, we whacked the bottom of the tire (Inside going outward). I expect a 2x4 would work as well. One or two good hits on the tires had them come off.

The wheels had corroded around the center hole. Before putting the wheels back on we cleaned the center holes, and put some anti seize grease around them before re-installing the wheel on the car. That has worked well and we have not had any problems after that.

An old trick is to loosen the bolts and drive it slowly in circles until the wheel is loosened.
By loose I mean a few thou gap, not loose loose.

Or just give the tire a healthy kick. The wheels are subjected to much more force than you can give it in a kick. Old school, low tech method that always works.

with a combo of all your input.......they are off.
working on taking the calibers off and there is a "caliber slide pin".
how does this slide off??
took off end dust cap but can not see how to remove it.
looking forward to replacing it and there is torque specs of 25 but how does it come out??
thanks again for all the great help.

found an old thread with comments from andrew, seems it takes a 7mm to unscrew that floating pin.
thank you andrew and old postings.
now it is that dang star bolt holding the wear sensor
what was once a simple job sure gets difficult with old age, body just doesn't do the same any more, but it is fun.
thanks guys

Bob, the caliper pins are actually T47 star, not 7mm, although that will work in a pinch.
that
dang star bolt holding the wear sensor
is a T40.

thanks for your previous help.
yes, there was on small screw holding it in place.
it is out.
tried wacking it with mallet, lower the car with a floor jack to put some weight on rotor to maybe break it loose, so far no luck.

If it's a rear rotor that will not come off it could be you have the parking brake pulled. The parking brake shoes press outward on the rear rotors. They will not come off with the parking brake on.
