Rear Camber Problem

We just had our new (to us) srt6 in for new tires and alignment. The old tires had worn unevenly. The vehicle has approx. 27,000 mi.

Front and Rear Toe was out of spec., and corrected during alignment.

Front Camber and Castor are within spec.

But Rear Camber is out of spec:

Left -1.7 deg (spec -1.6 to -0.6)
Right -1.8 deg (spec -1.6 to -0.6)

I have been thinking about trying the MEVOTECH MS10459 kit to correct the rear camber. But is this really necessary? Seems like it is already pretty close to spec.

Why would a new vehicle have a Camber problem?

Does anyone have any advise on what best to do?

Thank you.
John & Terry

Re: Rear Camber Problem

I would go with adjustable rear camber arms. I bought mine over on the MB forum, or you can make your own. I put the new arms on with centers at 12" and my tires are wearing perfectly even. Never had it on a rack.

Check here: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...r-cambers.html

Be sure the ends have rubber bushings, and not pivot joints as they usually end up noisy.

Little more information please. Which tires are wearing unevenly and how (pictures would help). That said the rear tires on my Reattas, 225x60x16, are at 2 degrees negative and wear evenly. Toe in or out would wear them quickly.

This is what is in my records.
It shows someones figures before and after an alignment with the acceptable range in small figures.
