Default Lower control arm bushing front

On both sides of my car the bushings are badly cracked and worn. Both sides need replaced.. Shop I was at said no one sells the bushings and have to replace the whole arm that sells for over $500 each.

Has anyone found a place to buy the bushings? Or perhaps a cheap set of arms?

read this thread. it may help you make a decision; https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-kit-help.html

Basically you can replace the entire A frame or install a K-mac kit. A third choice might be to replace your bushings with OEM, but as to price you will have to decide which is best for you; none of it is inexpensive because of the labor involved. The K-mac runs about $320

Check out FCPeuro.com for bushings and replacement arms. Use 2003 MB SLK 320 as the vehicle.

Thank you very much. I am still looking for oem replacements but the K-Mack kit might be the cheapest option.. This wont be me installing it as I don't have all the tools and other crud so I have to find a shop with a open mind.

Use them or Needswings. Both have great customer service and quality parts.

I hear a lot of talk about replacing the Front Lower Control Arms on these cars, which I will be doing without a doubt as my bushings are shot. But what about the Front *Upper* Control Arms? Are they not as crucial of a part, or do they perhaps not have rubber bushings?

Also....same questions on the rear (upper and lower) control arms. Not worth changing out?

Thanks.
