Michelin Pilot Sport Cup
I ran my first event with the Michelin Cup tires after throwing out my Toyo S1-R's. (because the sidewall is too soft) And let me tell you, these tires are "Wicked Sick" for the track. They're like super glue!!!
If you're interested, for the OEM wheels, I put 225/40/18 on the front and 265/30/19 on the rear. I heat cycled them myself and ran cold pressures of 33 front, 38 rear.

I was at a local SCCA autocross this past summer and there was a guy from Arizona with a black Crossfire (a member here, but can't remember his name) and he had them on his car, same size and everything but get this, he's driving home with them on. Those tires don't have a treadwear number, do they?

EIGHT, that's funny as hell. Why would some attempt to drive from SE Michigan back home to AZ with those tires on, you'd ruin them by the time you got home, if they'd make it that long!

I can get a good 3 weekend events out of a set... Though I run full road courses, 5 (20 minute) events per day, 10 per weekend. You could probably get a full season on a set if you're only doing SCCA SOLO events...
Great tire none-the-less. Best DOT approved competition tire made in sizes that I have found for our car IMO...
