Possibly looking to buy (dependent on price) an unmolested SRT6 engine control unit (ECU) or engine control module (ECM) whichever designation is correct . . . If you have one available please e-mail me directly at RedDogNumber1@aol.com with details and your price. THANKS, Bob Davis

Thanks Doc, I usually check E-Bay for anything I'm looking for but hadn't checked for this . . . I see two of them available both from the same seller. You think $230ish is a fair price for that?

The ECM or ECU is VIN specific and will need to be progammed......right?

Well . . . that's a good question. I was thinking of buying an extra ECU so I could send it in to Rob's guy at Inmotion for tuning specific to my engine mods and not have my car "down". Never thought about whether it has to be reprogramed specific to my VIN number. I'll need to ask Inmotion about that. Thanks for the "heads up" . . .

Yes it needs to be coded to your vehicle. It's a lot more than just VIN. Let me know if you would like, I could do it in my sleep at this point.

Also, 230 is too much, contact Tim (MrMopar).

Hello and THANKS for your response and for sharing your knowledge. I sent an e-mail to Tim several days ago and he never responded so I posted here. I'll try a PM to Tim. If I buy a unit I'd like to take you up on your offer to program it to my vehicle. That's very generous of you . . .

Usually he responds to email's pretty quickly. If you would like I can try to get ahold of him for you?

Sounds good, and no problem. I'm glad that I can help the community with these ECU jobs. I hate hearing on the MBworld forum that they spent $1K+ on a blank ECU for Mercedes to program. It's time consuming but not that time consuming lol.
