Not being a smartass, but they don't show up often in the second hand market. They're just that good.

Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
If you have money to burn, then why not.
Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
Look at CFM on the DCAI vs the single CAI and then compare that to what the throttle body can flow. I think a single is all you need....
Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
Remember . . . It's always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!
Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
I use to think the same thing. When they 1st introduced them, I attended the Dream Cruise and Rob installed the dual and took my single in trade. Acceleration was just enough to shave another .1-.2 off my times. Not a big gain, but a gain to say the least. And they do look better...but like they say, it's your money...
Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
You disagree that it takes up less space and cost less money? I thought those points were pretty much rock solid. I agree the dual looks nice in there, especially with those AMG mani's.
Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
There's a set for sale now on here, so why not buy them? I think $600 shipped is a very good price.
EDIT: My bad, I see you tried to get them but were too late. Sorry.

Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
Thanks. Made an offer but was turned down. Needed power steering line kit and was painted black by owner. OP bought it used, so who knows what the filters were like. Offered it to me for $550. But $550 + line kit($70) + filters($80?) + repowder coat($150?) = pretty close to new price. Rob offered 10% off on Black Friday, but missed it. If stuffs not perfect, it dont go on my car.
Re: WTB Needswings DCAI
I was the same way until money became "an object", as I have a wife and kids (one in college next year). Now I just focus on making sure everything that I install on the car is mechanically sound.
