Check out my post here... and searching with the M/B # on Fleabay shows many used pumps under $100.

Well it's not the right one for my car for the 3 one I have bought it's way to big to fit in the bracket so it does work on my car so I just used some bailing wire and it's in there now just so I can pass California smog they don't care how it looks just as long as it passes...

If you want to buy a spare part you should use the Mercedes or if you have to, the Chrysler part numbers.

You were using the Bosch part number and many of these ads skip that number and use the auto manufacturers number.

As you have found out that though they may look the same they are in fact quite different.

You ordered one part and it had a different part number altogether.
Bosch#0 580 000 011 (MB #A 000 140 37 85) instead of Bosch#0 580 000 021 (MB# A 000 140 43 85)
.

Yes i agree with you but I bought the wrong part number that another member on here sent the info for me to buy( he was tring to help me) not knowing if it would fit in the bracket as I was Told it would fit but it does work to help me pass California smog for now and get my car reg. to drive ( the check engine light is off now )
As at this time I don't have the funds to buy the right part number new and I have also been looking for the right one to buy for some time but I could not find the right part numbers used or new that I could afford ..... This one with the wrong part number works for now and when I find the right part number that I have the funds to buy I will do it..(.this part was under $100.00 )
