WTB under hood insulation. Must be in mint or close to perfect condition as possible. Let me know what you have .

 

Where are you at, I removed/saved mine early on to allow better cooling, reduce weight. Shipping would be a real costly issue, Woody

Some pics and a shipping quote would be appreciated. If shipping would be cheaper to a commercial address let me know. I’ve notice some model came with no insulation as that would be an option since the SRT6 in going to be refinished in a couple weeks and I’m rounding up the remaining parts to detail the interior and engine compartment. I’m really interested in returning it to stock condition and a super nice underhood insulation would enhance the look tremendously.

Didn't see a listing for a Crossfire. Somebody has to have a nice underhood pad laying around.

I have a nice Crossfire hood insulation just removed from my SRT6 roadster parts car . . . You would be second in line if you're still interested. Still looking for a nice hood silencer. Someone must have a nice used or NOS insulator laying around out there.

Still looking. Must be as close to new as possible.

 

The insulation was removed from our black SRT roadster by the previous owner, I think I like the car better without it. It sure looks better.

 

That’s the other option if a nice one can’t be located, to do away with it altogether.
I’m hoping a member has a like new takeoff or there’s a NOS liner out there somewhere.

 

May be worth contacting somebody who is offering an entire hood for sale on ebay or Facebook Market. Offer them some $$ to remove and sell you just the insulator.

I've found 2 very nice used liners locally, one was on a flood car the owner was selling whole and the other was on a used hood. Neither seller would sell just the liner.

I thought I had run across another one but someone used a giant pry bar to prop the hood open and in the process damaged a good liner.

Searching thru some old post I saw where a member said he bought several, unfortunately he's no longer an active member.
