Default Wanted -

Anyone have a headliner assembly for a 2006 Red Crossfire Coupe. Grey liner. Ours is coming down, but if I can get a used one in decent condition would be much appreciated so don't have to go through all that trouble of putting new liner on. 61,000 miles and may be selling in the near future.
Thanks much!

And you know a used one will have the same age, causing the same problem?

If you are going to put the effort into replacing the headliner it would make no sense to not replace the fabric.

To have a used "headliner assemble" shipped to you is very close to the same price as having your headliner repaired at an auto upholstery shop with new material. Unless you do all the labor yourself it would probable be more expensive. I had my headliner repaired for $130 while I waited in their lounge.

Your still going to have to remove the headliner regardless so I dont see the point in getting another headliner.

Remove your headliner have it redid and put it back in.

I agree. I just pulled my headliner out of the car yesterday. I am ready to redo the headliner with the supplies I bought today.

Gentlemen - My headliner was drooping like most of them do. Took it (the car) to a local upholsterer and he removed the headliner, recovered it, and reinstalled it for $250. Had it one day. Just a FYI,

Jim

That is NOT a headliner. The product is only fabric. If you purchase you will still have to remove your headliner, buy the proper adhesive, apply the material and reinstall the liner. DO NOT attempt to glue this fabric to the existing top without removing the old material.

Check this post, a lot of GOOD info ( https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...r-removal.html ). Post 1, plus 25 (especially 25) might give you a good base for having the liner done. Clips for trim panels on fleabay are MB part numbers ( https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...op=15&_ipg=200 ). My liner is still securely attached, no problems! Good luck with your liner!

Oh I know that. Just wanted to make sure this was the fabric.
