You can see the passive cooling that my hood produces even when parked.  With forward motion, the suction really pulls heat out.

Different view of heat flow out of the hood from a different angle.  This is really a one banana modification.  More difficult mods require you to tie 2 bananas to the problem for a monkey to fix, old IBM lingo...

This is just the removal - pull off- the rubber gasket just infront of the windshield, in the summer.  Enjoy

Please not the heat pouring out of the engine compartment with the rubber gasket pulled out.  THis allows hood heat to vent when parked and the springgy thing is a temp probe to prove that it works at 55 mph.  The probe was anchored under the wiper blade for this test.  Really a simple mod that takes 20 seconds to do, about 30 seconds to undo.
