Yes - I used onehundred80's recommendation on post #12, although the invoice was from Drive Auto Parts LLC out of Tampa Fla. the ordering site was the same as supplied by onehundred80.
The part cost was $131.95. Maybe there were cheaper options, I just figured onehundred80 knew what he was talking about.

I did not like paying a shipping and handling charge of $17.92 for a total bill of $149.17 - however, the part was delivered very fast and the part was genuine MB.

Since the car was down with the windscreen grille removed, I took the opportunity to install my NeedsWings catch can and tidy up the engine compartment.

This was a hoot.
Thanks guys.
Pete

You should get the shipping cost to Canada, it's $41.50.
You get a part that some want close to $190 for and then you complain about shipping cost? I guess you could always drive there and pick it up for nothing.

The new part has a M8-1.25 stud, the old part uses a Tamper Proof screw with a T40 Torx head. You have to supply the new nut and washer required, I made my nut from a 1/4" nut made with an oversize hex.

Mercedes part
A219 820 32 26, Chrysler part 5124443AB.

You will need a M8 x 1.25 nut for the stud as the OEM siren uses a T40 Torx tamper proof screw so you’ll need one of those to undo the old one or rotate the siren as you did.

There are two sirens we can use, one uses the nut (
219 820 32 26) and one uses the Torx M8 bolt (171 820 53 26).
CLICK for part numbers.

It is a M8 nut I believe, I made mine but I forget the pitch, just the regular pitch I guess.
I installed the new Alarm Siren which also chirps with the remote door Lock and Unlock
I needed a gear puller tool to remove the wiper arm from the posts
I also needed a nut to secure this new alarm siren as it has a threaded stud to attach to the existing bracket
The nut that hold the wiper arm is the same one you will need for the siren to attach it to the bracket
I didn't have a Torx bit to remove the Torx security screw that held the OEM siren so I simply turned the siren itself to loosen it from the bracket.
A photo below shows the "Torx Security Screw" in the old siren
