just did a muffler delete . Was a little worried how it was going to sound .

the tip is from wickedflow . syfi has a similar one on his car , the difference is he has the rolled edge and a 2 1/2" pipe , this one is a strait cut edge with a 3" inlet.

I really like the way it fits and looks .

At idle and cruise I cant tell a difference , but if you get on it , it sounds great . Not deep like a v8 mussel car , more like my old Ferrari sounded . mid tone and a little hollow .

not to mention getting rid of a 20lb muffler. win , win ,win

Nice, i like that tip, do you still have the sharp bend around the rearend or make it more gradual to the tip?
Did you remove alot of the drone?

I did rear cat delete and a dual in dual out MF muffler in place where the cats where and dual 2.25 pipe to the back and a gradual bend around exhaust instead of the sharp bend, and quad tip, 2 dual angled and slant cut, follows the profile of the rear.
Have no drone at cruising down the interstate

squirrel crusher thanks for reminding me , I need to coat the thing with rejex so the exhaust wont stick to it . Didn't mention but the tip looks like it is well madeand they only cost $68.

 

I have the rolled Wicked tip with a muffler. Love the look.

I went that route once as well. I decided to go back to round tips but it is very unique.

 

As I mentioned before, James, your Crossfire was the incentive for my getting the exhaust tip. And I have painted the muffler with high temperature black paint, as you suggested.

 

my next step is to paint the splitters like you did , looks really nice on your car
