Default What are these buttons for ?

I bought a Crossfire for about a year ago and didn't get a book for it. What are the buttons on the back mirror for? There are 3 buttons.

When you push the button it turn a red light...?

Sorry for my bad English, hope you understand.

Thanks.

Those buttons are programmable ... You can point your garage door opener at it while pressing one button near the mirror and the button you use to open the garage door and the same time. Hold both buttons for 5 or more seconds until the light flashes green near the buttons by the mirror. Only downside is you can't open the garage from within the Crossfire unless the key is in the ON position.

I hope I've helped.

I love these buttons, I have both garage doors programmed on it and put the remotes in the house. Crossfire just keeps on giving. I paid 23K out the door and got a great GT cruiser. My buddies paid 22K and got a piece of crap Ford that always has problems, is ugly, and doesn't come with anything.

Last I remember, Sears had modules that worked with the garage remote. You plugged a light in the house into the module then the outlet. You could turn lights on in the house from the car. The other buttons in the XF could be programmed to operate those modules also.

Cool Re: What are these buttons for ?

You can also use it to turn on the security lights on your property and also to arm/disarm your security system.

CrossfireLTD,
Do you know of a site that shows how to control the lights or alarm system? Also, do you think a gate with an RF remote could be programmed? Thanks!
