Need Advise - Winter Tires/Steel Rims ?
Question, a friend of mine told me, I can buy a set of Four 18" steel rims and thrown the current 18" winter tires I have from my previous vehicle on them. I purchased these winter tires last year and would be the correct size, if this can work what offset, etc would the steel rims have to be...
I don't have the extra money to get a set of four 18" nice winter rims/mags and I would rather Not drive my stock 18"/19" rims through winter, so 18" steel rims would work the best for me... I know they will look bad... but best I can do!.
Need advise!
Thanks.

The Crossfire has a unique offset, so your old rims aren't going to work. My advice is to go to tirerack and check out the cheap new rims they offer, there are closeouts all the time and who knows, maybe you'll like them over the stockers and then you could use them for snow tires. Speaking of those snow tires, as big of fan I am of the Michelin "Pilot" snow tires, I'd get something that has more emphasis on grip and now so much on speed ratings because this car must SUCK in the snow, so forget about speed rating and handling for the snow tires.
