I had my headlights refinished by my local bodyshop. They sanded them down, buffed and polished them. They sprayed a clear coat on them to protect and to make the finish last. They did this to my Nissan Frontier about 2 years ago and they still look new with no maintenance. Charged $75 for the two headlights.

depending on what your headlights look light the mothers kit might not work. it might be clear coat and if thats the case wet sanding with meguires platix is in order. i did mine a couple of times that way and they turned out 20 times better but its not 100%. even if u take it to a body shop its not gonna b one hundred percent
