Default Picked up my new ride....

Ok guys and gals.....heres the score.

After much toing and froing and negotiating, last Thursday, I picked up my Blaze Red 6 spd coupe. Car has 2800 mls on it and is in as new condition. Ive had a blast driving my new ride....which complements my Aussie 1971 Chrysler Charger well....two Mopars in the stable !!

I spent the whole Sunday detailing it to MY stds, not the stealership's, who's level of professionalism I found to be neglible lol, the less said the better .

Anyway, I went over it with Meguiars show car glaze No.7 then NXT Tech wax...the depth of shine and reflections are phenomenal, very happy with the outcome !!

Planned mods for this car is an owner built, custom Magnaflow exhaust (Ive fabbed a few before - dont like leaving my car with grease monkeys, Im a fussy bastard), have an Eibach Prokit , K&N's and possibly a new head unit to replace the Infinity unit which is OK, but not the best IMHO. I have all the parts, just need to fit them shortly.

Possibly down the track if I keep the car, Id like to give the Xfire the HP it deserves. Id like to custom fit a centrifugal blower & intercooler under the hood and replace the ECU with an Autronic programmable system (made here in Oz), drop the compression to 8.5:1 - 9.0:1 and fit a decent fuel system to the car. Goal...... to get 300KW/400HP at around 8 psi. Expensive...yes, feasible...definately. I just cant see why it cant be done.....I mean the AMG engine puts puts out around 350 HP.

Ill post pix after lowering the car...then pix of the exhaust..

Stay tuned...
