My brother and I just bought an SRT from out of Calif. and have just landed it in Vancouver. The reason I say I'm sort of new is that I have a profile on this site with my roadster, gjw, that I have just brought home but my brother does not and he is not so savvy with forums etc. So I signed up a new membership for both of us.
The car is an 05 SSB with dark int. a single owner with 30k miles.
I will be replacing the steering dampner, I learned this from the owners group, and also adding a capacitor to the speakers, also learned through this great site.

As I was buying my 05 Roadster from L.V. I took a break and went through my Crossfire links and I saw an SRT in San Diego for sale for the same price as I paid for the roadster, I suggested to my brother that he consider it. I went over to S.D and checked it out and liked what I saw. I then had it brought it into a shop and had it gone over, spending $250 on the check up, it turned out great, not fantastic, but good enough to make on offer on and it was accepted.
I must say that my time spent on this site last fall was very much worthwhile and my appreciation to all that contributed to my understanding even that impatient guy that suggested that I p*** or get off the pot.
I hope that these are not the last XFire purchases I/we make as there are still two more models to consider, especially the SRT Roadster.

Thanks again to all of the moderators and contributors you have an outstanding site.

Welcome to the SRT world. You wont want to drive the roadster now. It will need to be replaced with an SRT one. LOL>
Dont forget to list the VIN in the VIN thread. Thanks
