All this hunting in dark corners when right here on this very site are SRT6's with known history which have had loving homes that are available.
Not 06's though and that one is a beauty. One of very few if as presented and made on the "Black Line", too.

Re: Rare 2006 SRT6 for sale in Harleysville, PA, on eBay
Guys
That is a true 2006 Crossfire SRT6. This car was listed For Sale by Roanoke CDJ in Illinois in December 2013. It sold shortly after the posting and the dealer was aware of the rarity and it was listed for $35K, but unknown actual selling price and that owner never joined the forum. It is in the database that I maintain for the forum. From that sale date to this latest listing, the owner put on approximately 24,000 miles. According to our database, only 9 have been detected to be in the US, with others out there, I'm sure.
ALL 2006 SRT6's that shipped to the USA had the 2005 SRT6 emblem on the trunk, no other locations. The updated SRT6 emblems that appeared on all other SRT's shipped elsewhere (outside the US) had the emblems on the front fenders above the strakes and NO emblem on the rear.
Just my 2 cents.....

old man
You are correct and Bill (Silver Fox) was the first one to report that he purchased a 2006 Crossfire SRT6 and no one believed him at the time. The 2006 model seemed to be more of a rumor at that time, since everyone believed the SRT6's were manufactured in the 2005 model year.
It's a shame no one believed him, resulting in his alienation from the forum.

I have a 2006. The differences are cosmetic. A 06 is rarer and a year newer. I'd like to think a 06 SRT-6 is worth more than an 05 but were talking about 9 and 10 year old cars. It takes a special buyer to believe in the investment to pay for rarity. Especially an essentially unknown car. If I was looking for another SRT-6 I wouldn't pay more based on year.

Thank you Denise for your hard work. That is a valuable aide to owners and potential buyers. That input should completely change the conversation.
Some collectors insist the first year of production is worth the most and others the last year. For decades I owned a 1979 TVR 3000S, a car that was only produced in 1978 and 1979. I never thought one year was worth more than the other primarily because the model was a two year run. My 1978 3000M was worth more than a 1979 due to smog exemptions and increased power. Later I owned a 1986 280i. 1986 was the last year TVRs were imported to the US but a few came in as 1987s with just a few minor changes to the badging. I put a higher value on the 1987 than 1986 just due to its rarity and it being the final rather one of the inner years of production.
Now I own a 2005 Crossfire but (as long as it is Black) would suggest the 2006 is worth more than a comparable 2005. The build numbers are so drastically different it is deserving of a considerable premium.
I suggest in a few years this is a car people will be remembering with regret at not having purchased.
You will never be able to buy a newer one and not likely to match the miles either.
SRT 6. Black line. Roadster. 2006. Low miles. That is a find.

Re: Rare 2006 SRT6 for sale in Harleysville, PA, on eBay
Thanks for the confirmation DT. I merely wondered since every other 2006 SRT-6 that I've seen registered in the U.S. shows them sporting the fender badges in the exact same spot on the fenders.
As far as Silverfox goes, I heard it was his attitude rather than the disbelief of his purchase that kept him away. But that's a story I have no involvement in. Shame too, since he has one of the unicorns (albeit the wrong color!). Machine gray is the one to have and I saw only one 2006 coupe in the U.S. (San Juan, PR..my birthplace!!). Lucky **** right there.

Re: Rare 2006 SRT6 for sale in Harleysville, PA, on eBay
Guys, I have an '02 SLK32 AMG. Looking at this SRT-6 I assume it has the original wheels? Chrome? What size wheels did your cars come with and offsets if you know. I like the stock AMG wheels but want chrome wheels. If these SRT's are comparable with the AMG I would seek out a nice set. Mine are 17 x 7.5 and 17 x 8.5. I have seen AMG's sell for $19k so if this car is rare and in excellent condition as it appears it is likely worth the price and as someone stated in a couple of years some will have hoped they had bought the car.
I used to own Chrysler Conquests, aka, Mitsubishi Starions and they sold for $7k in excellent condition and are now priced at double that. Somebody buy it! Mark

Yes, they look original, but they are machined face aluminum, not chrome.
They are 19 X 9 22 ET on back and 18 X 8 35 ET on front.

Re: Rare 2006 SRT6 for sale in Harleysville, PA, on eBay
I believe the dealer set the minimum bid of $20K, based on their purchase price of the SRT6 and the "story" of the rarity of this particular 2006 SRT6.
Just a hunch....
